Well I am back on my N9 while my HTC One is in for DOA claim (infamous gap issue).

Honestly, I don't miss much of the swiping action as much as I thought I would, it's handy but I can get used to double tab capacitive button to switch between task. But one thing I miss about MeeGo Harmattan is the UI consistency, I find easier to remember to navigate through different levels on Harmattan. Android is absolutely nuts, some buttons on top, others below, absolute mess and GOD the double tap to wake the freakin' screen!! I tried everything on HTC One (w/o custom kernel), nothing worked as close. And stupid Ads, it's everywhere!!

...why not, even older symbian phones also still have their "nokia store" environment. While i just threw my lumia into the corner, and "reactivated the best phone i ever had"-N9 ..my wife still happily uses her N8-symbian belle device and the store with mostly QT
apps.

well there is, but its garbage, have one complaint and you get a warning, and when apps that you are asking about availability dont exist they tell you that you dont need it or to use another one, then if you talk about another OS's strength (In a thread about WP8 weaknesses) you get banned

Lumia 920 / WP8:

good points:
- great looking and quality hardware
- camera
- screen size and quality, apart from not being able to do LPM
- wireless charging

bad points:
- terrible system sounds that also cant be changed
- no profiles (I especially miss timed profiles)
- bad navigation between apps/tasks, including the poor "back" button!
- adding to above point, theres no quick way to close an app
- screen has to be off before putting in pocket or Windows button gets pressed, activating Speech Command, making phone speak etc.
- only a few apps, mostly garbage or multiples

Things I really miss from the N9:

- low power mode display
- swype keyboard
- swiping
- true multitasking
- customisation
- flashing freely/openess

Im sorry Nokia, but YOU HAVE FAILED, AGAIN. This may be the end.

Edit: notice how its all software problems? The 920 with Meego on it would be my dream device almost.

For the first time in a long time, I put my N900 on the bench and using an N9 instead. Mostly because I want to preserve the N900 for as long as possible since I don't have a second N900 like most on TMO it seems.
