Look at your N900. Keep staring at it for a while. Imagine it's just slightly thicker than it is.
Now pretend you're looking at a Neo900.

See? it's not THAT hard.

What did you expect? The Neo900 is a N900 with a new mainboard. It will look just like a N900.

latest news, as first hand as it possibly gets: PLS8-E/US are and will "ever" be 2.20mm height. PLS8-X is 2.95mm height (due to bd13) - but we don't want that module anyway :-)

Though the document http://m2m.gemalto.com/tl_files/cint...rvices_web.pdf has some minor glitch (2.3mm height) it's still very useful. See p.16

cheers

[QUOTE=joerg_rw;1472552]The HackerBus pins you would use are:
5V : VBUS (allows externally powered as well as hostmode-boost battery powered operation)
pin15 : UART_RX (the 470 Ohm resistor in this circuit must get replaced by a 10k)
pin12 : UART_TX (you need a pullup resistor 10k to 5V here)
(Masse pin5) : GND

That's look easy.

Yes, I have already USB adapter, but they have typically 3 ms delay compared direct serial port MIDI 0,3 ms delay. That doesn't sound so much, but thinking to make Neo900 to "realtime" pocket MIDI-command processor. So I have to calculate in and out delay so after that it's 6 ms or 0,6 ms and that 6 ms is not "realtime" at all in music.

But that's not only thing way I buy Neo900 so I ordered it at last -today But I hope that somebody collect all Neo900 low level programming information some where.

Why wouldn't we want the PLS8-X module (aside from additional height of the module)?

No voicecall/audio support (didn't notice initially) [edit] meanwhile we removed the [-x] variant from the faq modem table, so nevermind PLS8-X and -V

For Neo900 this might mean:
Cool, more issues and oversights
