Hi everyone! So I just bought a new N9 a few months back. Everything was fine then until suddenly it started showing problems. Like one time I was listening to some music I loaded into it and suddenly it hanged and rebooted and this happened a few times until this week I discovered that it's not opening anymore, just stucked at the Nokia logo and the led light blinks and then shuts down. When I'm charging it, same thing happens and i just reboots and reboots but it doesn't charge. Actually before this happened, I usually charge it and then leave it on standby on my drawer until it's drained. Tried using the R&D method but it does not work. Tried charging it after it's detected by the flasher but after a few minutes it just reboots and still stucked on the logo. Just a note that I haven't made any tweak or flashed it before as I'm not well-versed to such. It is as it is since I bought it. Please help me revive this beautiful phone. Thanks. Anyway I haven't downloaded anything aside from the flasher, no flash image whatsoever as I can't find any. Thanks again!

Could be a dead battery, but to charge via flasher you do have to have a firmware image available. See this resource:https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=87709

Remember that you can't downgrade but nothing to prevent you using this updated image DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_005-OEM1-958 from http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=96401

Tried to download the firmware image you pointed but it's not available anymore. Is it ok to download any of those just to be able to charge in case the battery is really dead. Thanks!

Thank you very much! Going to download this once work resumes (internet is faster in the office ) But just to give you an update, my N9 is getting worst, as the screen is completely dark now and it takes time to be detected by the flasher. How I wish NCC is still alive here in PH. Anyways, I'll give you a heads up after. Thanks for the time!

THANK YOU SO MUCH ASPERGERGUY! I'm so very happy that I'm almost about to cry. My Nokia N9 is finally back! Flashed it with the firmware image you pointed and it's a success. Also thanks to everyone else especially THEDEAD1440 for his awesome comprehensive guide! N9 is finally back in service.

Thanks for letting us know, once you have carried out the procedure you won't have to worry if it needs repeating in the future. Just hope your battery is not on the way out for it to have reached this stage in the first place.
