Does anyone know if it is possible to filter text messages (SMS) as they arrive?
I have this scenario - few of my friends use the internet to send text messages to me. When they do, the message sender is 'internet' (or something like that) and they append their signature to the last line (or just a letter, like 'A.'). It is the same everytime.
The problem is, when I want to reply, it fails, because it is impossible to reply to that internet SMS gate. The messages are also saved in one thread from all those folks, so it is quite messy.
Possible solution: A layer, that would filter messages and, say, if they were from sender 'internet' and contained 'A.' on the last line, they would be recognized as from my friend. That could be made by changing the sender name to my friend's number.
