Yep, the orange triangle on boot. Seems like flashing the kernel didn't work.

FYI I'm sure the bootloader is NOT part of the kernel? I'm sure the bootloader is a seperate entity on the MBR which then loads another bootloader aka LILO or GRUB which THEN loads the initrd for the kernel and then the kernel itself? Correct me if I'm wrong, but thats how I understand it on the Desktop.

did you do the following before flashing the kernel:
rm -rf /home/nitdroid or where you've installed nitdroid.

Nope - didn't realise I needed to do that. Why do I need to remove the nitrdoid folder? A little unsure as it's just some files on partition - I don't understand how/why they would interfere with flashing the kernel?

you need to remove the nitdroid folder so that you can flash the kernel without that folder interfering without your meego boot.
i'm not very sure with NiT (used only Aplha1) but i think removing the folder is impt before flashing the kernel.
can you try and report?

init.goldfish.rc
ueventd.nokiarm-696board.rc
init.nokiarm-696board.rc
ueventd.rc
