giving credit where it's due, without the pureview branding, the OIS tech inserted does help to give better low light performance, by giving more light in by slower shutter speed. It's something we've seen on N86, where they manipulate the aperture that time. This reminds me of N86 a lot.
Of course the promotional video showing the girl jumping up and down when taking night shots definitely is a poor illustration how OIS can help in night shots. The only way to freeeze those shots are with external lighting with extreme fast shutter speed
I dont like how Nokia gives false portrayal of tech usage on their lumia series, it's too ala Apple (might they actually hold a patent for that as well?). Nokia always proud to show their camera sample raw on their symbian product and don't do simulated results like this.
