Its a problem Skype having with some of they "supernodes".
Not all users and not all versions of skype are affected.

Thanks for the informations guys
I can sign in and out from skype on my PC but there is no one else there :P
i will wait tell this problem is fixed and try skype on my N900 and see if it works

Thanks for the suggestion to signin with another account, I only tried deleting the account and recreating the same one again. If I would have to reflash to fix this one I would simply not use skype.

I also had the problem that Skype suddenly stopped working on my N900 while the same account did still work on my workstation. Today I found the solution: I just deleted the whole directory /home/user/.Skype and got everything fully functional again. Apparently there was some inconsistency there that made Skype to completely stop working.

Sign out of Skype on your PC and I bet you can't sign back in.
