A provisional response to these provisional results is thank you to all. And now I'm really scared!

Congratulations to the newly elected Community Council, wish you much wisdom and perserverance in steering the Maemo community in this new direction.

And thank you to the outgoing Council members for your time and effort in steering the Maemo community through rough waters.

Don't be a'scared... You'll do good... I feel it.

Congratz to all BTW...

I'm on the road right now but I voted before I left.

I do have a response I would like to make in this thread regarding some of the statements made about these forums and their percieved value... I've viewed them along the way and I'll post a relevent summary when I get back to the comfort of my own keyboard sometime this week-end. Please forgive me in advance if it breaks any continuity when I do.

Thank you. I've done some deep breathing and I'm good to go, now I'm over the shock.

A HUGE Thank you to the out-going council (though some of you are on-staying!) for steering us through a challenging six months. This bear will be glad of your advice and input any time you care to give it.

And thank you to those who voted for me - I'm honoured, flattered, and think you're all nuts.

So what happens next? Do we have a hand-over? Do I need to sign up to something? (More mailing lists?) Do I have to sign away my soul in blood?

All of the winners are great choices.

I only wish that we could get sjgadsby elected one of these terms.

EDIT: Oooh, post number 6666.

Good initiative

I'm happy I documented how to generate the results in the wiki now.

Cheers,
