so I wrote a noob tutorial for nothing lol

Things you'll need:
1) rootsh
2) enhanced linux kernel-power (settings) installing settings will install the "enhanced linux kernel-power" as well
3) smartclocker script
4) queen beecon widget creator

Step1: Install rootsh, enhanced linux kernel-power (settings) and queen beecon widget creator

Step2: download smartclocker on to your PC hard drive and unrar the folder.

Step3: place the "smartclocker" script that you got from the downloaded .rar folder into MyDocs when you connect your N900 to your PC.

Step4: unplug you N900 from your PC and then enter the edit mode on the desktop you wish to create the "SmartClocker" widget. Tap the top bar, select "Add widget" and scroll down to "Queen beecon widget" and tap it.

Step5: with the new widget on your desktop and still in edit mode select the little wrench icon at the bottom left. Seletct "add cmd", name it (I chose SmartClocker) and in the area for the command type in "sudo gainroot ; sh /home/user/MyDocs/smartclock". The inverted commas are not needed.

Step6: Set width and height to what ever you desire (I chose 255 and 55 respectfully). Scroll down and select "hide bg" and "hide clicked bg". Remove everything else i.e. other words and stuff written in the text boxes, this is to make your widget transparent. Where you see "@Clicked" slect it and where you see @Interval down to the buttom slect 1hr or what ever time period you desire, tap save and that's it. Now click the icon you made and it should give a little dialogue about what it loaded etc. Once that is done the you can go back and deselect @Clicked so now your widget isn't clickable and will just run at the specified time interval.

I hope this helps you, it's exactly what I did.

btw bakuur with PR1.3 the script does not seem to work well yesterday I had the stock kernel and use my device a lot and the battery lasted pretty long now with the power kernel and the scrip, back to poor battery life, well poor compared to yesterday. for now I will be using stock kernel if you want me to test something I'll reinstall the kernel but I really prefer stock with PR1.3.

let me know alright

depends on the usage really
anyways the stock kernel actually uses a higher voltage
so scientifically it actually drains more battery
so try using the stock kernel for a while
im really interested in that

at this moment im using stock and it seems to have gone back to the same battery life as PR 1.2 so I'm confused but if you're getting good results with the script I'll just experiment with PR 1.3 for a while then try the script again like next week because in science on experiemnt does not give accurate results.

but i feel that my brain will explode with all these scripts :P
