I'm thinking of creating a new forum category called 'Events' with 'Maemo Summit 2009' as it's first forum. I am hoping that this would become the 'official Maemo Summit 2009 discussion forum' where folks attending or not, can talk and ask about the summit. Current summit threads will be moved to this forum.

The 'Events' category will be at the top most for maximum visibility. New forums will be created in the future for official Maemo events.

I'm also thinking of a way to add the #maesum Twitter feed at the right when you are on the Maemo Summit 2009 forum.

Good idea?

Ideally, the microblogging revolving around the summit should appear on maemo.org/news as well.

@Reggie: Great idea! +1

@EIPI: Microblogging the Summit will appear on the Summit wiki page. I'm afraid (imho) that adding it to the main News page would introduce a LOT of clutter.
