Actually , I can't install more apps on my N9 because of the "small" 4Gb partition for installed apps . I know there ara a way to increse this partition by editing the eMMC image . I did it with my old N900 and it worked but never try it with my N9 . Did anyone try it with their N9 ?

I changed 4096 by 8192 in hope of having 8Gb partition for installed apps . But after reflash the device , nothing change , I always have 4Gb for this partition :

would u able using fsdisk on terminal to make partition

wait you already have 4gb of only apps installed?

4GB is enough for me, but I'd like to reformat the data partition as ext4 instead of vfat.

Yep , you don't know how cheap it is to buy an app in Nokia Store in my country . It's just about 24 cent , 50 cent or 75 cent for an application .

I found the information about the rootfs partition ( installed apps partition) on the firmware image :


I editted it and tried to flash it with the editted eMMC image but got this error :



I think it's a bit complicated and dangerous for my device so I stop researching about this

Is there no parted / resize command available on N9?

US cents? What country's that?
That's damn cheap, lucky bugger.
the avg is way higher for Australia.
