You are right.

NOS is not made only for N900 but N900 at all!!

I think N900 is not a Nokia machinne. N900 don't size NOV nor OVI.com.

Could we keep this thread on topic, please?
I have nothing against proper discussions about a product so keep it at a level that is actually useful to other people.

Moaning and blaming does not help anyone.

Well. The question which operating systems are actually supported, from a usability point-of-view, seems like a on-topic question to me. Perhaps one could argue I should keep my sarcasm to myself, but I would argue against that that I should've had some form of support software from Nokia for a platform of my choice, id est, Linux. Now, added to that the fact that we're speaking about a linux phone here, that I would like to see supported, I might add to my previous argument that my form of sarcasm was pretty mild, compared to the fail-level Nokia is running here.

chemist, can I ask how you rsync your contacts? from what I have read this isn't possible.

I'd love to automate my contacts backup somehow instead of using ovi suite. sorry if this is off topic.

Personally I find the whole OVI suite a HUGE step backwards from the PCSuite. I archived the install on my server and hastily put it back on my laptop after removing OVI Suite. Why the heck would I want to automatically copy everything form my phone media folders onto a random location on the PC? Sorry but I can't see my ever using this tool, the only useful part was the sync to Outlook and once again PCSuite is more functional and intuitive.
