nope not the charger, from my n900.. i'll check and see if disabling R&D mode works, can't remember enabling it though.

okay the flashing keyboard lights have stooped after disabling R&D mode, but the searing sound has not stopped.. it's almost the same kind of sound the old school flashes made when loading.. except it sounds broken ... almost like small little bubbles bubbling in water, like when you look for a puncture in a tire under water, that's exactly what it sounds like actually.. anybody else had this?

since i bought my n900 whenever i have the keyboard slid open and the screen is blanked i see the keyboard LEDs flashing like mad. since a short while ago i have been hearing a high pitched seering noise coming from it aswell while it is charging. Does anyone else have this and know what it is?
