the sticky threads are extremely annoying when reading this site on a small screen (like on N900).
What I really can't get is why the hell those stickies are repeated on each page. So much scrolling for no good reason.

What do you mean sticky thread? They are all situated in the update order. So the one, where someone has replyed the latest sits on the top

He probably means the list of sticky threads is too long while reading on a small screen; as it will take up screen estate that forces you to scroll down to get to the non-sticky (updated) stuff.
