i just downloaded pc connectivity manager and have been playing around with the bluetooth settings.

i'm trying to get a bluetooth PAN going between the n900 and my laptop. tethering, obex file transfers, a2dp, etc all work well between my laptop and the n900.

reason is, i'm trying to establish a VNC connection using the PC as the client and the N900 as the server.

i can't seem to get a valid IP address or connectivity using pc connectivity manager. i am running windows 7 on the desktop. i have x11vnc installed on the n900. i know this works because if i use pc connectivity manager and configure an ad-hoc WAN, i can VNC into the phone.

help?

I had to assign static IPs to get Bluetooth PAN going. It may not always be the case, but I could not get auto IP assignment working.
