Hi, I think I posted this in the wrong section, so I'll post here.

I just got my N9 today. Disabled all the vibrations (touch screen, alert) and it still vibrates when I get a text, chat or email. Is this normal. If so, is there a way to fix this? Is it a bug?

Please, help. Thanks.

Someone else may be able to confirm/contradict this for you.
I'm still waiting for my N9...
But in the meantime you could search the bug-tracker?

I don't have this problem. The N9 allows for vibration to be on/off for all 3 profiles (i.e., ringing, beep, and silent). Are you sure that vibration is set to off for your current profile? You should see the toggle for this under Settings>>Sounds and Vibrations at the top of the screen.

I contacted Nokia, they told me to enable then disable then restart. At first it didn't work, I tried again later and it seemed to have fixed the problem.

Thanks for your help, guys!
