Android is out of control right now. ZTE and Huawei plan their own android markets, their own ecosystems, even their own versions of the OS, and there is nothing Google can do to prevent it. With Motorola IP and production facilities they can create their own. There is no other way they can protect their interests.

motorola got many software and hardware patent

on hardware they made the first cellphone, thats enough big enough, plus many of the smartphone to be thiner put the bulky antenna on the bottom, like moto RAZR.
also wifi, GSM. 3g. patents. battery consumption etc.
motorola also made the flip phone, swivel, and have patents for sliders.

on the software side motorola developed symbian UIQ with ericsson, several linux based OS.

not sure how many patents it hold but its as many as nortel.

on deal google offering, open alliance members can use motorola/google patents to defend themself on software basis. or hardware design.

forcing the apple or microsoft who never built a phone until 2007. to drop it or make cross license agreement since android would be protected by such patents.

still it doesnt gottta help someone makes 100% iphone clone but it should scare patent trolls like microsoft and apple on software patents.

motorola have freaking 3x3 icon grid even before ipod existed. on v600

kinda like how apple is now even paying nokia money to make phones.

Is it confirmed somewhere (by someone trusty) that the cyan version won't come in 64GB?

That are as close as one can get hardware-wise, to the N9.
Just so I can do some detailed comparisons....
Just for curiosity's sake, not in an attempt prove MeeGo > WP.
People can draw their own conclusions, once I've laid-out the data, & answered qns.
You think that you are offended? No way I'm offending anyone you know.

And I didn't say you are proving something,no.I was proving that MeeGo > WP.

As for the current versions, they are all the same(In performance hardware and etc.) In the upcoming releases, the hardware will be a little more powerful, or better we say, will be as powerful as the Xperia Play does. And maybe a little more powerful than the N9, but it depends.

For the current hardware, have a look at the samsung focus, and its specifications. For its performance, I have searched the internet but no luck.
EDIT:Yes, I'm recommending the focus as a good WP7 device.

I'm assuming both sizes will come in all colours (Expansys are "stocking" all combinations) - have we had any official word here though, or are we just making assumptions from various retailers' guesses as to what we might want to buy?
Although if Nokia aren't making colourful 64gb ones, I think I'll be buying two, swapping the cases and then ebaying a newly-black 16gb model.

Oh and why are a bunch of people (including Jukka Eklund and MWKN) encouraging an Amazon seller that has put up a guess price and has never sold anything on there before? Smells scamtastic to me, and not anything that should be used as news.

I've seen conflicting info. about that though.
I don't think we'll all know for sure...
Until some time after it begins selling in volume around the world.
