Not my entry

Ibrakalifa, the image is more beautiful when all colors are visible imo. It is a really nice shot!
What is the Gate on the right? Some religious site?
Any Wikipedia entry available?

EDIT,
Wow Fellfrosch. That is not at all what i imagined when thinking about the theme. Appreciated!
The contrast and detailed spots pop like hell. Also, great atmosphere.
Not that the other entries would be much inferior Great interpretations of the theme so far! Thanks all for your effort.

That's my mom's home region, and for the gate, that just like a 'welcome gate', it's located near 'bukit bintang' or star hill in English, lol

Come here mate and you'll love this place, if you ever come to Bali then this place is a nice place to spend your holiday then

Check out Darktable on any linux distro.

It is really complex but to get started my advice is to only very slightly change values in each "module" and keep an eye on the histogram on top right.
If the values in the histogram increase, you are probably doing right
But there are many tutorials on youtube and also in written form.

Meantine in batcave. Got the front bumper finally done and made two secure holders for the front cover. May take some wind.

Like mosen I'm also using darktable on linux. If you are not on Linux, there is in the meantime also a build for Windows. I think it isn't that complex, if you are using the easier modules at the beginning. If you invest some time darktable is VERY mighty, especially when you are working with parametric masks. There is also rawtherapee, which I use for special tasks. But I fear rawtherapee is even more complex. Without some patience and a training period it's hard to get the best out of your pics.

What the heck....
Boy are you building your own car or do you restore a classic car?
Whatever it is, you have my deepest respect!

Bought a rotten VW Beetle and had to make so much new so started to make it my own. It is becoming multicolored Alice in Wonderland car with characters I have made out of wood and painted. Gonna put Raptor dust cover and then matte colours so no need to polish. In the end (if I ever make there) I will try to make it look like from a cartoon as the characters are also from the cartoon.

Very lonely job, wife has come to see it twice, first time forced, and friends do not care or bother. For a while it took my health and had to leave it for half a year - at my workplace (a pre-school) where I have it. Now there has become some pressure (already after two years!) that it should leave and I have a lot of stress for it - cause it is not quite ready yet.
