You don't need any external forces to kill the N9.
Nokia has shown itself to be fully capable of doing that on its own.

Personally I prefer the Droid RAZR but with quick modifications:
-Root & boot unlocked
-4.8in curved display
-1280x800 Super Amoled Plus
-No Navigation Buttons
-HOST ready from the microUSB
And some major/other modifications:
-My own custom UX built on top of ICS 4.0.1 (with the Qt framework)
-Dual loudspeakers on the longitudinal sides of front face of the phone (a la HTC Arrive)
-Power button on top of device
-Lapdock with the connection in the front so the phone doubles as the trackpad
-1.5GHz TI 4470
... ...
and maybe the same phone as above but with a tilting mechanism where the bottom modular is changeable between keyboard, extended battery, or dual-joystick-gamepad.

But let's hope it at least helps bringing down that nasty fruit company.
I prefer ice cream to rotten apples any day.
But for now, I'll stick to my N900 anyway. However, this new android version really could be something great for a tab (not samsung's in such case because I find it extremely overrated if you compare it with the asus and acer ones).

Since you started another pointless thread. I can tell you Galaxy note is the real deal. Galaxy nexus and motorola, they are for kids.
