dpkg -r incepted-repo-enabler should remove it.

ivgalvez, not all packages there require inception, and packages that don't require inception shouldn't be installed with it, higher privs = higher risks

Do you mean that packages in this repo do not have a package dependency with Inception? Otherwise I don't understand the necessity for separate repositories.

Packages in my repo require inception to run, but they don't depend on it (Depends: in contrrol file), packages in his repo don't, and shoulnt br installed with higher privileges

Version 0.2 adds my non-free component for my closed source packages.

The repository requires inception or open mode to enable, but further installations will be done with normal apt-get methods.

To enable the repository:
Code:
wget http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/Harmattan/incepted-repo-enabler_0.2_all.deb
/usr/sbin/incept incepted-repo-enabler_0.2_all.deb
devel-su #enter root pass
apt-get update
Open mode - untested-:
Code:
devel-su #enter root pass
wget http://mohammadag.xceleo.org/public/Harmattan/incepted-repo-enabler_0.2_all.deb
export AEGIS_FIXED_ORIGIN=com.nokia.maemo
dpkg -i incepted-repo-enabler_0.2_all.deb
apt-get update
I'd appreciate any feedback, whether this works or not, etc.

To install, for example, led-event-notifier, as root, apt-get install led-event-notifier.

If this is working fine, all future releases will be via this repo, it's easier for upgrades etc.

The fact this was easy to do opens up the possibility for a CSSU that needs Inception/Open mode, but that's good enough I suppose
I got these after installing repo. What to do? The battery doesn't show the number, only the percentage symbol and then there's this weird stuff. I know it's for alarm. But why is it like that?

Solved. I refered here

Straight forward enough, but I don't suppose you could eventually add the option to uninstall via the apps manager?
Unless I'm missing it, I looked there but I can't see anything... TIA.

All I get from this thread is the considered opinion that we should have a community repository for inception-requiring packages.

In that case it sounds like you've misread it.
