can I install maemo on other phone? for example imate PDA2? or other phone?

Definitely.
You'll need the following tools:
www.getaclue.com/MAEMOINSTALL to install the toolchains.
Then you'll have to install busybox on an older Game boy (the original monochrome compiles the best). If you don't have one, a Game Boy color will do.
After that no you can't install maemo on an imate you'll need to go slap your neighbor upside the head. Three times.
After that, MAEMO will install just fine.

I tried what you suggested but on the second slap upside the head of my neighbour it returned an error:
Anyone know how I can work around this?
