I've been trying for ages now to set it up and still don't know what to do.

1. I installed FMMS from the App manager, set it on Havoc,

2. I'm on Vodafone in the UK, so i went to this website and got these settings:

http://thetekblogger.com/2010/05/27/...ia-n900-f-a-q/

Vodafone UK

* Access Point Name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
* MMSC: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
* Username: wap
* Password: user
* HTTP Proxy: 212.183.137.12
* Port Number: 8799

OR

* Access Point Name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
* MMSC: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms/
* Username: wap
* Password: wap
* Proxy: 212.183.137.12
* Port number: 9201

I went on FMMS settings, and inputted these settings on my phone. I tried both.

3. I then tried to download a MMS I received. It keeps saying "Downloading MMS" for around 3 - 4 minutes and then I receive a message that says "Unable to retrieve message"

So what do I do? Do I have to go on My n900 Internet Connections and create a new Connection? I'm so confused on what I actually have to do.

It may be that the MMS you are trying to DL has expired if it is quite old.

In fMMS change your Settings to:

INTERNET CONNECTION:
wap.vodafone.co.uk
http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
wap
user
212.183.137.12
8799

Leave Advanced blank.

RESIZE TO:
Medium

NETWORK MODE:
Havoc

In fAPN (You need to DL this App) set up a Connection called Vodafone MMS
Connection type - Packet Data
Access point - wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username - wap
Password - user
Prompt password box unchecked
Advanced settings...
Use proxy box checked
HTTP proxy 212.183.137.12
Port number - 8799
Auto retrieve IP address boxes checked

Connect to the Vodafone MMS Internet Connection first and then you can send and receive MMS.
