I'm currently working on my thesis and I've created a small game for the N900. The gameplay is pretty simple. You just have to pick up burgers to gain points and dodge knives in order to survive.

What is interesting is that it uses the front camera to track your face. The game is solely controlled through head movements. Your face's position is transferred to a character in the game with which you have to pick up the burgers.

But a video is worth a thousand words:

As this game is part of my thesis I need to evaluate it and the input method. For that, I need your help. Please, download the game and test it. After some playing I'd like you to take a survey about it.

The .deb package is here: burgerface_0.1-1_armel.deb (764 KB)
The dependencies (SDL, SDL_mixer, SDL_ttf) will be automatically installed when installing the package and it’s optified.
The survey is here: survey. But you can also participate in it on your N900. There is a link in the game.
Last, but not least, there is a little more information in my blog.

If there are any problems, just let me know. :-)

great work! ^^

but i wouldn't recommend playing that game in the public - maybe some people would think you're a little bit dumb xD

Well, gaming is about fun. And if it's fun for others, that's good, too.

Thanks for the great replies so far.

I believe they will be installed automatically when you install my .deb package. Doesn't that work for you?
