It might be the same dimensions but the Acer has rounded ends, the camera in a different place and the buttons and ports in different places.

Down here in India, I have to settle for this, until something better comes up:
http://cgi.ebay.in/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=331265925635

Its a folio type pouch case. Mobile goes in through the sides.
Only pbm is it covers the headphone jack if volume/power keys are on outer part. Also its a bit tight. Pretty secure with top and bottom held by slightly elastic bands (Can only see the bottom band in the photos).
For the price, its quite a good one.

Hi all, I see a lot of talk about full cases of various types but I'm more wondering if anyone know of any bumpers that would fit and where I could get one?

I'm talking about something like this:

I had one on my old iPhone and it saved it many times from falls etc.

Here's a case that I picked up for my Jolla.
What I like about it is the phone slides to one side, thus exposing the camera and flash.

I was playing around with the case today and hit on an idea.
How difficult would it be to mod one of these cases so that when you slide the phone to expose the camera, the camera actually activates.
Just like sliding the cam cover on the N900 or the old N73?

How about this:
1) Magnet, that can be detected by phone (should be possible, VR cardboard uses such) when it is slided out.
2) You need something that wakes up the phone from sleep, e.g. front proximity sensor
3) You need something that triggers camera-app active

If magnet is there, and proximity is removed, launch camera app. Do nothing if magnet isn't there.

Solve the 1) and rest is easy
