With literally just hours of 2011 left, I've taken the $550 plunge and ordered a new cyan Nokia N9 from amazon! I've watched almost every youtube video, read a thousand reviews and spent hours reading threads here.

But apart from jalyst's notable Google-doc list, is there a particular app you can recommend, or a link you can post, or just something you love about it (or not!)

I'm sure other newbies to the N9 will also appreciate a quick nudge in the right direction.

Thanks a billion in advance, and Happy New Year!

One thing I would recommend doing is hop on Twitter if you haven't already and do a search for the hashtag #N9 and #N9Club. You'll find a ton of people people and info there!

For the most comprehensive N9 app catalogue without all the useless RSS feed apps (which are not really apps) go to My-Meego

Cheers, Guber. I'm a dumbed down version of a human so I think I'll be fine. I never used my N900 as most folks in this forum do/did, so I'm hoping it'll be a fun ride.

Thanks, SamGan. Just went there and I can see it's going to be a hive of goodness.

Nokia N9 is the only new Linux smartphone we can buy. Full Linux : X windows, ssh (-X), Python, etc.

I have both N900 & N9. N900 is a better computer-phone, N9 is the best computer-touch-only smartphone. Just my opinion.
