browsed net continuously for an hour. battery draind frm 60 percent to 11 percent. when i closed the browser and put my cell on standby after browsing fr an hr battery showed 30 percent left.bt after few seconds it dropped down to 11 percent. m usning opera to browse, speedpatch 0.4 deb, batterypatch.deb and custom-karam profile with kernel power 47

i confirrm that both of patches works awesome

been to school and hosted a mobilehotspot played N.O.V.A with my friends for about 3 hours still 60% left
great result

i use karam's profile

Then lock the phone and unlock it
Then

cat /proc/sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure
------------------
you should see 100
If so then the patch is applied

Removed old patch, installed all the new, rebooted etc. but when I execute the commands shown above it still shows me 1000 . . .

Anyone on this?

btw, battery life has marginally improved for me. no surprises because i use the phone quite often (small light usage but many times per hour) and it doesn't spend much time in the screen-off + closed position. nevertheless, a very smart solution to the battery consumption issue. kudos.

y will my phone be cursed..apply some common sense..if my battery is a problem then how can i find it out...i also wanted to buy battery onlyn but they dont supply in my country(bangladesh)

i can confirm this with the new deb_1.0 patch

Will the impending release of kernel power 48 have any effect on how these patches work...or vice versa please?

hey can anyone confirm if the battery patch is working fine the deb file? people have commented that it shows 1000 on vfs cache. and is the new speedpatch working fine as well? better than the old 0.3 deb file?

i am still having problems with the battery patch test still showing 1000
the speedpatch0_4 however is working fine
