Probably you didn't install the dt-init-scripts package.

That would be it. In fact, I missed everything under the previous release so I've only had half of DT installed. o)

Development goes in two directions:
1. Kroll invents UI & UX, posts screen mock-ups and behaviour descriptions
2. I'm writing the code

But both of us are often burdened with other stuff. For example, I had very busy week at my primary job and had other duties with my family and had no time to continue work on player. Though i'm still thinking about the functionality and internal design and this time is useful too.

Sorry if we break your expectations and development is slower than it could be.
But this is hobby project, not a payed job, so we can't guarantee the amount of time we will able to devote.

Hey there long time no news, heh?
Indeed we got some important things to do instead of Simp, for example I currently pass my final exams in university plus I have a job plus I teach people kendo twice a week.
But the project didn't abandoned, I still have my Koss Porta Pro and n810, so i still need a good application to fill a gap between them

So tell me guys, where edit and delete buttons should go?
Pop-up menu if long tap on play list? or somewhere on the bottom bar?
Or how about this:
Tap on the play list name. Swipe to the left. Play list opens. Tap on the play list name on the top bar and choose what you want to do from fall-down menu.
Or just focus on play list (single tap) and go right to the top "Playlist" button on the top bar and chose what to do with this play list.
Where will be some items like "clear all", rename, delete, lock/unlock (to make sure you will not accidentally delete it), move up/down in the list.
To open the list (to edit songs) you can swipe on the name of it to the left. Like this:
