these days I pulled out of the drawer my n900 to give new lifeI tried to install carman with the procedure

all right till the point 3, but when I try to install carman finding this error:
Carman: Depends: carman-ui (> ~ + 0.7 pre-alpha-1) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken pakage.
in the thread I saw the same error is encountered but not resolved ..
I also tried the manual installation downloading the .deb files directly from the repository

without success .. can anyone help me please?
P.S. I installed pyOBD, it works but I would try carman ..
I have gotten a version install on an N800, but without GPS it's just not all that interesting except as an engine trouble code reader -- and other, simpler apps can do that just fine. I looks great, though. And of course reading the N800 screen in a car dashboard setting in daylight is another matter.

Your only hope is to find someone who can provide the missing dependencies, and it's been almost a year since that was requested with no response. If you do find it, please post about it.
