i flashed 1.2 to get around a reboot loop and booted the phone without a sim in. i used touch to create a 0 byte .cherry_state file then rebooted with my sim in.. i've not seen anything thus far regarding subscription notes, though i have yet to check my bill for texts to the shortcode

both subscribe and unsubscribe buttons in the mynokia control panel app were disabled with the sim out.. they are now both enabled, though i dont know if they selectively disable depending on reg status..

lol bit extreme, my signup failed anyway so never got registered, didnt want to. sure i was registered with my n95 and the tips they text are at dribbling idiot level at best!
