You can find the binaries of both gphoto2 and libgphoto2 here:
http://www.wirgilio.it/mio/gphoto2_libgphoto2.tar.gz
Just unrar it on / and make /usr/local/bin/* executable

excuse the ignorance, but after I extracted the files how do I make it executable?

you can explain it .. please

Open xterminal
Code:
root
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/gphoto2
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/gphoto2-config
If you have this problem:
"error while loading shared libraries: missing_file: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Code:
ln -s /usr/local/lib/missing_file /usr/lib/missing_file

hi everybody,
I followed your instructions,but I have this problem:
gphoto2: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libgphoto2.so.2: file too short

is there a workaround?
