Hi guys,

Just wondering if there are any developers based in the UK, preferably near Oxford, who do freelance work?

Cheers,
Chris

I'm in the West Midlands. I can do graphic/design work (mainly vector based), but I'm not great at any programming. Could work as part of a development team.

I'm looking at developing a web-based inventory control system using python with mobile based apps to extend it. I was thinking of using iphones but now am definitely considering maemo devices. Have you got any experience of anything similar?

I meet all the above criteria and I have an N900

However, present availability is nil (3 clients and the flu, flu is winning) and I'm more low level hacker than you're after anyway, I suspect.

May I enquire as to why the location of the person is important? There are a lot of developers hanging around, and we have seen a lot of projects function like clockwork where most developers didn't share the same country, sometimes not even the same continent.

Unless obviously you are talking about paid work, with a contract and everything, in which case I don't know if this topic is in the right location.
