Hi guys,

First of all, a huge thank you to all the guys who tried to developed this app.

I have an issue though, I installed everything without any issue, yet when I reboot nothing happens, I get stuck on the android logo...do you have any ideas what would cause this?

Thanks a lot for your help!

2) X Terminal :

mount /home /and
cd /and

dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06_final1_armel.deb"

3)Have You multiboot installed?
4) I should look for right spelling.
Very little can go wrong: try again !!

Hi keinola!

First of all thank you replying , well you are right that very little spelling can go wrong but I have followed the exact same process(without a spelling mistake) as you mentioned above the only thing(as I said earlier) when I execute:

tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/N11_Vostok.tar

I get the error message(or just a message might be):

tar: can't open the old file sdcard: Is a directory

and it stops right on this command

so I do no go on the next command of installing the kernel that is i have not tried:

dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06_final1_armel.deb

as the tar command above does not unzips the entire Vostok

hi all! thanks for posting these instructions! I am soo grateful for what you have done for all of us. <3

I am having some problems though...I would greatly appreciate it if someone can help me. So, I've gone through steps 1-4 without a problem...After downloading nitdroid-installer...I tried to type the following into X-terminal:

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs

It says not -sh:cd/home/user/MyDocs not found;

Thanks!

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2

it says bzip2: Can't open input file NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2: No such file or directory...I'm soo sorry. I'm fairly new at this....

Hi JimmyAM,

I'm still trying to figure it out..I'll let you know if I get anywhere...

Can someone tell me what am I supposed to do after I download the image + kernel file to /MyDocs? Do I need a special program on my phone to extract it ? Or do I just leave it as is? The same goes with the kernel.

Thanks.
