The FUD machine is in full effect this morning.

Facebook has apparently admitted to hiring a PR firm to smear Google's reputation with privacy concerns.

http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/12/f...-smear-google/

"The American people must be made aware of the now immediate intrusions into their deeply personal lives Google is cataloging and broadcasting every minute of every day-without their permission."
... and you thought you came up with those concerns on your own. How adorable!

Flash 3 has been released, with bug-fixes and speed enhancements in tow:

http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/12/f...-bug-fixes-apl
RELEASE NOTES: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/902/cpsid_90281.html

Have at it. What's the worst that can happen?!

When Flash 11 hits, that will be a very significant day. For those that don't know, Flash 11 includes a 3D API codenamed 'molehill' that will allow for impressive 3D games.

At this frequency it's very stable. The hacker was able to get up to a whopping 2GHz with very modest voltage increases, but lost stability. Still, there's the possibility that it can go higher still!
my android device get's crazy FC's when @ 1.5ghz and SGS2 is stable? holy moly! need to grab one!

Or... you could do what I did and install a tweaked copy...

I haven't tried installing it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab yet, but it's working GREAT even on my lowly old original Motorola Droid. I was easily and quickly editing my queue and even watched a little Top Gear via wifi streaming. WHOO!

You know, for a device released at around the same time as the N900, this thing has REALLY made up for the high price that both devices were sold for.

Follow-up: Nope! Doesn't work on my stock (but rooted) Samsung Galaxy Tab. I'll bet I can get it to work, though, based on some other tricks I've read. I'll let you know what I find out.

Don't know if it was mentioned before, but CCP has plans to bring EVE Online to Android

Starting as a simpler client where you can play around in the market, change fittings of your ships etc etc... but the final objective is to bring the full on game to Android 3.x
I might have to start playing EVE again, not just changing skill training

Eve Online was shown running on a Tegra 2 Android tablet at Eve Fanfest which took place over the weekend. Whether they are web-based or not, expect to continue to hear about more MMORPGs making the transition to mobile as time passes thanks to how technology is now allowing our Android devices to support these kinds of heavy graphical games.
