Somewhat difficult, still is there any possibility of porting the swiftkey app to harmattan since making an app like that would very much be out of the question?

Actually, it IS possible

There are a few different input methods, like voice input.
I don't see any reason why there couldn't be any other input app like Swiftkey. Just someone needs to develop it

Porting wouldn't be possible since its not open source, but you could make your own app providing the same thing as swiftkey does

Code:
s/possible/not\ realistic
Swift key is closed source and nobody seems to be interested in bringing it over so what are the chances?

As you say porting isn't possible so you need a highly-motivated dev doing it...Do i see that happening anytime soon? Sadly, no...

I actually made a thread about it before, I requested the same thing, it is completely impossible for the devs to give their time for this.. But still as F2thaK said, you can still change the background of the keyboard & buttons.. Because colors can be change but design is very hard..

@AMD "designing" the keyboard is not Hard.. It's simple editing of xml file.. It's implementing the logic. Swiftkey requires cycling of words.. Which was left broken in MeeGo keyboard by the devs because XT9 doesn't use cycling, just suggestions.. So they didn't bother fixing it. So, unless a dev takes the time fix the default keyboard first, yes, it's not possible.
