Hello all,

I have installed two webbrowser plugins (Adblock and Greasemonkey), and I have soon removed both (as they slowed the webbrowsing down to a halt)

However after doing this, certain functions do not work (for example on the internettablet website the "Search" or "Quick links" pop-up does not work any more).

Most probably the two plugins messed my browser up.

How can I restore mozilla to factory defaults? Is it safe to remove the .mozilla folder? Or is there something else I should do?

Thanks for any reply...

(Sorry for the double post - but my other posting was moved for some reason to a different location...)

you can try removing you whole mozilla profile /home/user/.mozilla ... actually, moving it temporarily to another location and restarting the browser could be an alternative. If you get your default setting as you want then drop your previously backuped profile ...
