This is a good question.
I've copied music out of my iTunes folder on my pc (m4a files) onto my SD card. The default media player can play them fine. I needed to convert them to mp3 to get Canola to recognize them. And then, I still can't get cover art to work - does iTunes use a different ID3 tag format?

On a related note - is there an OS2008 application that will play from iTunes shares (using daap)? Linux has Rhythmbox, but I haven't seen a maemo port. Canola claims they'll support it one of these days, but they don't now. Anything else?
