m@k$$h!t effectively bet on NOKIA to be their `IBM` in the mobile phone market.
their products are simple crap that doesn´t sell unless
  • they have to (pay any OEM amount with a new PC)
  • it comes with a very good product which gets bought for its own sake...

that's what happened 30 years ago in the PC market because IBM was too lazy to develop an OS for something they thought would just be a couple years fluke as personal is simply not supportable...

NOKIA's bankruptcy will simply be one more instance of it.
