The email apparently came from the Nokia Messaging System since it dosent show up in my inbox on hotmail.
Found that this guy does also have the problem:

Strange.
Will try to delete the configuration and set it up again.

I removed the configutaion of NM, rebooted and did the wizzard to setup NM again.
After that I only get the message i the prevous post.

I got the same message in my hotmail account but not gmail. I went on the nokia website trying to update the software. But it said the software I got is already the latest version.
Don't know what to do next. Any suggestion?

I also got it. I have registered 5 email accounts for Nokia Messaging service,and gmail is the primary account, but I found it in hotmail account...
So I have not clicked the link the notification mentioned.
But I still get a new email from Nokia Messaging properly, I guess it is scam...
btw, I confirmed that N900 didn't show any email in hotmail box, and couldn't send to other via hostmail account, while ovi or gmail acount could both above.

What to do?
