hey guys...

I noted that if u reboot the N9 very often, like once a day...
the battery will last longer... Do anyone can tell me the hardcode to request a reboot from the BusyBox?

tks

If what you say is true I think it can only mean that your N9 is seriously broken. Rebooting, just for the sake of it (i.e. not keeping it turned off, that's another story), will in fact use more battery than simply keeping the phone idle.

I would imagine so.

How do you measure that the battery lasts longer? Is it just a feeling or hav you done some actual clocking on it?

u can be right... but indeed it can be a software problem too... my biggest problem is with wifi... sometimes it does connect but do not have internet access... normally rebooting fix this... and when it happen all syncrozation services (and I do use then a lot, that is why I do have a smartphone) drain the battery... I think it happen cuze I have a lot of hotspots on my phone... anyway the battery usually last for a day in a regular use... if I do not get so many calls sometimes two days...

is your device getting warmer as the day passes?
could mean some (zombie?) process is using a lot of CPU, independently of the updates which definitely use a lot of energy

if your battery only lasts one day, how often per day do you bounce the device

how much power does ur phone consume when idle?
mine do about 25-30 mA.... using bluetooth and all syncronization services... maybe 11 feeds... some take a lot of time to download...
