Are you completely certain that it is a new entry? When I signed up with T-Mobile, I ended up immediately getting an "MMS" internet connection alongside the standard one, and never could figure out how to get rid of it. (I'm pretty sure I never installed fMMS either.)

Another nice package from frals.

Or:
just edit gconf settings (need to find the key myself, but not too hard )

@pichlo
I also do not have any need for MMS, but those 2-3 complaints a year 'why you did not answer?'/'have you seen the pic?' made me desperately fixing fMMS
Do you want some support? (there is also nice wiki about fMMS and settings)

Hi guys. I've been using fMMS successfully now for months, but something strange has started to happen (sure it's a bug) when I want to send or forward an MMS.
If I choose contacts from my phone book that contain "too many" fields (not sure on limits) or have social media fields like Facebook, fMMS will only display the top part of the contact showing the name of my contact and nothing else. I cannot go further from here and cannot select their mobile number as the field to use.
The only way around this is to choose contacts that purely have a mobile phone number and nothing else in their contact profile, and then I can select their mobile and proceed sending my MMS.
Can this be fixed please somehow?

I am having a strange issue with fmms recently

I can recieve all mms messages (from all providers), I can send mms to tmobile (US) users and they are recieved. Anytime I try and send an mms to ATT, Verison, etc (anything other than Tmobile); fmms SAYS it is sent, but the user never recieves it.

I am using wap.voicestream.com but have also tried epc.tmobile.com

Ideas?

I double checked my settings

Currently using
wap.voicestream.com (in the fmms settings... the apn for internet is left blank but I have tried both epc.tmobile.com and wap.voicestream.com) with no luck

http proxy: shows as 216.155.165.50, the config settings wiki says 216.155.165.050 but everytime fmms cuts out that 0

port is 8080

The settings seem correct. Something like:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
[Edit] epc.tmobile.com or fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices) [/Edit]
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
[Edit] Not set [/Edit]
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
[Edit] Unknown [/Edit]
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
[Edit] Unknown [/Edit]

Also, check MMS max message size: 1048576 for the mms?

Do you need to switch on cellular data and data roaming?

Also, try sending MMS to your own phone number, and see if it changes anything (unlikely, since you already can send MMS to T-mobile phone numbers)?

Also, see T-Mobile Support: 1979, 2090.

Best wishes.

Quick message
I had similar problems with my operator (Orange UK). All settings looked correct but fMMS did not work. Then I took the SIM card out and moved it to my old phone and MMS did not work there either. So I guess the problem was with my operstor but, since I have never needed MMS in my life, I did not investigate further and happily got rid of fMMS - which I installed in the first place only out of curiosity anyway.

The moral of the story? Check with your provider!

I reverted to an old backup that fmms worked on... Still have the same problem. Sending to myself works, sending to other tmobile users works... Sending to any other provider fmms says it is sent but the user never recieves it.

So frustrating
