we need to get this fixed, its one of the most important of all N900 apps.

if anyone knows the dev or has alternaitive for twitter in contacts please let us know.

nope...think this is a dead end...community for the most doesn't care about this feature...perhaps if we see PR1.4 it might be fixed

Well, the source code's available. If someone wanted to roll their sleeves up, it may just be a matter of merging the latest code, which supports OAuth, into the maemo branch. Easier said than done, I expect.
