Hi, I have exact the same problem on my N9. The problem turns on is caused by faulty battery. After replace the battery the flasher does just fine. Note, the flasher never can report 100% battery, the battery is full on 98-99%. Totally empty battery with hardware failure will be reported in the flasher with 100%

I have similar problem with N9. It had turned off by itself, and when pressing power button there was some kind of battery error icon on the screen (battery icon with exclamation mark inside it).

I swapped new battery in to it, but now it seems completely dead. Hardware failure maybe?
