i've just updated to the feb 16 fireware and all of sudden im having problems connecting to my home access point which uses WPA2. i never had this issue before with the previous firmware.

Turn off and Reboot, and it should fix the problem. I am using WPA2 too and it works fine after I turn off.

That fix it for the time being but after the phone been connecting to the 3G connection and back then i need to reboot my phone again to reconnect to my Wifi connnection.

same problem here. WPA and WPA2 networks NO go.

With some exact data (Router, Firmware, exact type of network and encryption method etc) it's easier to track down such stuff. :-)
Also, try disabling "Power Saving Mode" completely in Settings > Internet Connections for that connection. It may drain your battery faster, but it may make the WiFi connection more stable.
If you are tech-savvy, an ethereal/wireshark network dump is welcome too in bugs.maemo.org. :-)
