double post ftw! (honestly, I'm just after the "thanks"!)

I've got the information from 8 first prize winners. Missing is QNetMan. Sent him a mail.
Also I've already submitted the info of these 8 to Nokia, but the guy handling the MeeGo Coding Competition at Nokia is on a business trip today and tomorrow. (autoresponse email)
It will rain N9s, soon...

Hello guys,

I'm building the 2nd winners list, two are missed:
  • N900 X-Ray
  • Billiardos

I'll try to ping them directly in order to make things faster.
BTW there is another (big) problem.... we had received a sponsor for 10 N900... so, what would be the end for the latest one? We should think something out.

Oooh... as you say this, as far as I remember we have decided to gave the additional N900 to the games category. 1st N9, 2nd N900, 3nd N900, 4th money, 5th money because there were so many submissions.

Sorry, I have totally forgotten this discussion. It was in May or so... 6 month ago.

I can't remember the discussion nor that we had a decision. Also I can't find the posts in this thread. Could you provide a link?
I think it is unfair to give preference to one category.
My vote is to give the spare N900 to the Nemo guys (I'm still excited that with Nemo we're able to run Harmattan .debs on our N900s).
But that's just my vote and if community decides otherwise I'm happy to follow that decision.

i remember the discussion. it was said that games need more work to develop because of UI's and whatnots so you guys decided it should be given to that category. i'm just a passerby who happened to remember that discussion.

Seems that I can't remember because I was in a short vacation back then.

I don't like the idea of deciding to give the spare N900 to a competition participant after the voting has finished and the results were published.
Yes, we should have decided that before the voting has started, but I failed to remember in time. Sorry.

Another reason why I think we should give it to the Nemo guys: the N900s are sponsored by the Qt project. Who is doing more for Qt than the Nemo project? They're providing a platform with the up-to-date Qt release.. Not even maemo is doing this, and Symbian is not getting Qt 5 afaik.
