This is a dead company.

Nokia's slogan shouldn't be the pedo-palmgrabbing image with the slogan, "Connecting People"... It should be one hand open pleadingly with another hand giving the middle finger and the more apt slogan, "Potential Unrealized." --DR

That is where you can make big money. Bet against what the General public thinks. High Risk, high reward. I'm not saying you should buy, just saying I might.

Or more to the point this is easily interpreted as how the hell have Microsoft managed to deliver so BADLY, ONLY achieving a maegre 2.7% in a WHOLE year, despite BILLIONS in advertising.

Against a backdrop of Android increasing share by nearly 14% from an ORDER of MAGNITUDE more than Microsofts ENTIRE share in the last year.

Apple retaining a relatively stable position with a rough average of around 40%, telling here is the iPhone 5 / ios6 changes were obviously not widely welcomed.

The slight decrease in Apple over time is also virtually insignificant considering how much the competitor android has gained and still more than Microsoft has managed to gain during the ENTIRE time frame.

The result is that Microsoft (and by association Nokia) have resoundly managed to achieve the sum total of MAINLY IRRELEVANT in the new wave.

WELL DONE.

More telling is the longer term chart

http://gs.statcounter.com/#mobile_os...-200851-201252

Since this tends to suggest that customers and developers are gravitating towards the more open platform, can Nokia please stop their useless strategy based on a legacy dinosaur that is Microsoft and move once again back into the light of relevance.
