When I start the "Web" application the window appears and it says "Updating" with a throbber in the top right. It then sticks on this for a bit and the application closes.

Any ideas what the problem is? It does the same regardless of how I start the application, if I select a bookmark and after deleting .browser and .mozilla from ~.

Thanks in advance!

Mine did this randomly yesterday. Rebooted, the problem went away.

I've rebooted about 20 times, makes no difference sadly.

It's the browser daemon that's stuck.
Either reboot the tablet or open a terminal, then
Code:
killall browserd
killall browser
wait a couple of seconds then, as root
Code:
/etc/init.d/tablet-browser-daemon start

I have the same problem and luca's suggestion works but if I close the browser, it'll do the same thing again the next time I open it. It's starting to get real annoying. Is anyone else experiencing similar behavior? I'm wondering if it's time to reformat the device.
