*I hope I am posting this thread in the right forum*
At first, call me NOOB okay? so I am not Maemo/MeeGo developer, I just have some experience with them.
I'll tell you what I used to do with my old Nokia N900:
- Multimedia (Music, Videos, Camera,... etc)
- I was really loving this phone because of the ability to install more than OS alongside, I have tried Android "Vostok 2.3.3, and UMay 2.3.4), Ubuntu 10.4, Easy debian, MeeGo "Just for fun". So I am seeking for a device that can do that, "And I know,... both can do it, so what's better?"
- I am using some chat apps on Android like "Chatimity, KIK,) so will an Android on-screen keypad help me typing fast without any lag? "N900 was a bit slow with Android"
- Stereo speakers, FM transmitter
That's all, I think... Any help will be appreciated.... Thanks u!

Suggestion: why not have both? Based on your post, you have used the N900...is it still with you?

And yes, you can still install NITDroid (Android ported to N900 or N9). The NITDroid version on the N9 is Ice Cream Sandwich, by the way. Easy Debian is now also available for the N9. Here's the link to the thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=85878

As to "which is better?"...you may end up missing the hardware keyboard that we all loved on the N900 (it depends on your preference though).

Yes, no question about it. You'll be glad you did.
