Hi guys, I wanted to know how can I access the N900's camera from within Qt ? I've seen some example codes but they generally use Gtk related stuff .. Can't Qt itself be used ?

No, the code was removed from the release version of Qt Mobility

As a bit of advertising - you could try using the FCam API we just published. It works nicely together with Qt, and we think it's quite easy to use, and it's designed for full camera control on the N900.

See our project page for more information.

That might be so, but QtMobility 1.2 is available and definitely includes QCamera etc. There are no obstacles to developing a camera with Qt APIs only -- I have done that.

^ Hmm. I had a go with QtMobility1.2 just now, but it seems to be very QML centred and not very C++ friendly (unless I'm doing it wrong)
