Hello everybody,
I tested the day the WhatsUp client for Sailfish from CepiPerez. This works with a Nexus 4 perfectly. I have now done a factory reset and wanted to reinstall the client. Unfortunately OpenRepos page is offline. Where can I get the packet "WhatsUp 0.1-9.armv7hl.rpm"?

best regards
Jetronic

@jetronic: OpenRepos is not offline, but Whatsup got removed from it. Probably a consequence of:

I would have a backup of the file, but don't want to be counterproductive :-/ So idk what to do about it...

I'd say the internet doesn't forget... try this at your own risk and keep the file safe ;-)

Download for SFOS

Edit: Changed link, since previous one didn't work on phone web-browser...

This seems to be a new build?
Who is working on it!?

I know that Cepi really left the project...
Great that someone else has picked this project up!

folks. my whatsup like some others have reported) keeps lagging with the yellow popup that says it has hung and whether you want to wait or terminate the task.

today i noticed when on wifi, the lag seems shorter. then i switched to 4g and it was lagging like normal (since i use 4g all the time). then when whatsup had hung, i immediately disconnected data and instantly whatsup stopped lagging and was very very smooth.

so the issue seems related to networking code. tcp blocking mode? asynch vs synch? no idea but i hope this bit of information can help someone pinpoint the source of the lag / slow down.

I am glad an update is available. But I am curious why is the installation file almost double in size. Have you added new features? If so, would you mind listing? Thanks

Seems like registration is fixed,
and has new emoji support! (that is the reason why it's bigger in size now)
