Hi,

I managed to sync my personal Google calendar with the N9 using calDAV and URL https://www.google.com/calendar/dav .

In addition I have a subscription shown for the shared Google group calendar from my work which is also active but no event is displayed in the N9 calendar application.

To be shure I enabled that shared calendar at https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect .

I also created another CalDAV account for the shared calendar using the full URL https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[long ID]@group.calendar.google.com]/events this time as this is the default way written at the Google website.
Although this calendar got added again without any problems, nothing did show up at the calendar application.

Has someone already successfully added a shared Google calendar on the N9 using calDAV?

Is there anything special to this shared calendars compared to the default one what could prevent the sync or display of it?

Thanks, M.

I re-created the Google CalDAV Account exactly the way how it's written
at http://wiki.meego.com/Migrating_from...ogle_Calendars .

I still don't get any events display but now there's an error message while syncing which translates to "Datastore full. Free some space first."

The group calender contains a lot of repeating events and should be rather huge but other programs as TB Ligthning or iCal can handle it with no probs. There is also sufficient space left on the system.

Does anyone where the calendar events get stored so I can check it? Some SQlite database?

Thanks again, M.

I dont think there is any problem with huge calendars on n9.
I sync my 2003 - 2012 google calendars witch is very big: about 45minutes for the first sync.
(in 2003-2007 I was using palmpilot devices)

I use calDav as you do, but did you try to use "Mail for exchange" account instead?

I tryed first and as far as I remember it works fine too..

The "out-of-space" problem came later after adding the calendar several times. I don't think it's a real space problem but something else.

Assuming that Google uses standards as http/pop3/imap4 for their mail service and CalDAV for calendars, no - I haven't tried yet. I didn't know that they provide the Exchange protocol in addition.

The problem is with one Google calendar I've been subscribed to. It's the shared calendar of my colleague.
Do have a calendar of someone else you subscribed which you have successfully displayed/synchronized on the N9?

Thanks, M.

MfE works for the Google calendar but still no shared/subscribed group calendar. :-(
The "Data storage full" problem seems to be specific to full CalDAV Google calendar URLs as explained at http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=83243 .

I have set up 7 different calendars in Google. 1 personal, 1 shared (actually its my wife's calendar who shared it with me), and 5 external calendar feeds (holidays, week numbers, etc) and all of them are synced on my N9.

First I enabled the sync of these calendars from iphoneselect page. Then I just created a CalDAV account with username and password and input the address only as "google.com". Everything works. I am not sure if this is some regional thing but give it a try. I have disabled the Calendar from MfE account. I use it only for contacts.

Ok, good to hear that shared calendars from other people get synced. Actually I did the same steps but used https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/ as address. With the MfE account I have exactly the same problem.
Maybe I should try just "google.com" or better "google.de" if this is some regional "thing"?

Thanks, M.

Also stuck with "Data Storage full. Free up some space first" poping up *every* minutes !

I can see some my CalDav calendar under the "Manage Calendar", however, they are not under accounts !

Did you try deleting the CalDAV account on the N9, and adding it again?

I'm having the same problem. Shared calendars seem fine, it's Subscribed calendars that show up but don't have any events (e.g. something I've subscribed to read-only with a webcal:// or http(s):// URL.

The same was happening with my Google account on the iPad though, so I think it's probably a Google problem, rather than a Harmattan problem.

Switching my iPad to use MfE fixed it.

But switching to MfE on my N9 just gives me my primary calendar (and no amount of fiddling at m.google.com/sync or google.com/calendar/iphoneselect seems to change that behaviour :-(
